The McGowan Labor Government is putting patients first, delivering on its election commitment to upgrade and expand the Joondalup Health Campus, with major works underway.
The hospital has one of the busiest emergency departments’ in Australia and is one of the largest hospitals in WA, in one of the fastest growing regions of Australia.
The full expansion of Joondalup Health Campus comprises of; a new mental health building, 12 emergency department beds, 90 inpatient beds to meet future demand, six new Coronary Care beds, a new theatre, a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, a Behavioural Assessment Urgent Care Clinic, and increased parking.
