Youth Futures in Joondalup among first community groups to receive funding from Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund

• Youth Futures WA (Inc) in Joondalup to receive $50,800.00 grant through the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund
• More than $1 million in grant funding awarded to 23 WA community groups and local government authorities to help support people experiencing hardship
• Funding is part of the $159 million COVID-19 Relief Fund established late March
• Eligible organisations can apply immediately for grant support
Northern suburbs Members of Parliament, Emily Hamilton and Mark Folkard, today welcomed Premier Mark McGowan’s announcement of the first round of grant recipients to receive funding as part of the $159 million Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund, which goes towards helping Western Australians experiencing hardship.
Approved Lotterywest grants from March and April will see $1,098,568 support 23 community groups to deliver crisis and emergency relief support for Western Australians in need.
Youth Futures WA (Inc) is among the first Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund grants recipients and will receive $50,800.00.
The Lotterywest grant will assist Youth Futures provide emergency relief and support for young people experiencing hardship in the north metropolitan area.
